U14 Girls Capture Bronze

The Interclub U14 team girls won bronze in the Mcgregor cup championship division this past weekend. While the girls suffered a set back with a heartbreaking semi-finals loss, the character, heart, poise and determination, enabled them to come from behind in the first set, and put together a solid performance in the second set of the bronze medal match to take home the medal and finish the tournament on a high note. "We are very proud of each and every one of these girls and what the contributed to our team on Saturday, nobody likes playing in the third place game, but they dug deep, and gave it everything they had to come home with a medal. It was a great learning experience, and we will use it to make us stronger going into future tournaments."

U14 Girls Win in North Bay

The Interclub U14 girls were the class of the tournament this past weekend in North Bay. The fight, drive, desire and relentless pursuit they showed in playing every point of every game was amazing. It was a testament to them and all the hard work they have been putting in at practice and it paid off with a Gold Medal at the tournament in what was a true team effort. They never lost a set, going a perfect 10-0 over the weekend, only having to come from behind once in the second set of the semi final game. "We are so proud of them, all the effort they are putting in at practice, is starting to produce results in the tournaments, and we look forward to continuing to build on this going into the next part of our season. The most exciting part is, we are still getting better."
