IC’s 16U Girls win Tier 2 Gold at the Provincial Tournament!
April 25th, 2010

Congratulations goes out to the girls on a fabulous tournament! The team came into the Provincial competition with a stern approach to their opponents on Friday (knowing how tough their pool was) and competed very well. Despite a short cast due to injuries, Interclub approached each match with a team approach to success. For the most part they played each of their opponents with grit and determination and battling till the bitter end. Although they ultimately finished fourth in their pool after day 1 the team’s spirits were still high in finishing the weekend off well. More

Pre-provincial Prep in Buffalo for the U18's
April 18th, 2010

Nothing like a road trip to bring a team together. This week-end the U18's headed down to the beautiful BNCC in Buffalo for a final tournament before Ontario Championships at the end of the month. A nice team dinner on a cold Saturday night in Buffalo and an early start on Sunday against 10 unknown teams.

The Interclub U18 girls have often had trouble getting off to a quick start at tournaments and at the BNCC Springfest tournament was no exception losing the first set 25-20 before jumping all over NFVB 17 Blue in the second to take the game 25-14. Next up was Permiere 18 who put up a fight but lost both matches with scores of 25-22 and 25-19. More

U15 Blue Buffalo Bound
April 1, 2010

With Ontario Provincials a mere three weekends away, both IC 15U Girls teams, Black and Blue were Buffalo-bound and looking for medals. There was much excitement crossing the border the Saturday before what would be a rare Sunday tourney. As the girls and parents enjoyed team dinner on the Saturday evening, no one expected the excitement that was to follow the next day at the Buffalo Niagara Court Centre. More
